THE COVER BOARD HAS A SQUARE DECORATIVE PASTE-ON SHOWING THE "HUNCA MUNCA" WITH HER BROOM AND DUSTPAN. THIS IS SET WITHIN A BLIND STAMPED SQUARE. THE COVER IS REMARKABLY WELL PRESERVED BOTH FRONT & BACK FREE END PAPERS ARE FINE THE DESIGN OF THE END PAPERS WAS REDRAWN IN 1904 FOR "THE TALE OF BENJAMIN BUNNY". THESE SAME END PAPERS FROM "BENJAMIN BUNNY" (1904) WERE ALSO USED IN "TWO BAD MICE" (1904) AS WELL IN THE TALE OF MRS.
